Hours: The collections are open to all inquiries from visitors on a drop-in or appointment basis. Consists of: architectural drawings, both individual drawings and complete archives; documents/correspondence; models; photographs, both vintage and newly commissioned; ephemera. Strengths: the collection spans the years 1500 to the present, with major concentrations in 19th century French and British art and architecture, and 20th century avant-garde movements. Accessible by computer. Drawings cannot be reproduced. Institution has a conservation laboratory.
Library HoldingsHoldings: extensive monographic and serial holdings in the history of art and architecture, as well as supportive materials in the history of science, philosophy and religion, social and economic history, anthropology and ethnography. There are also collections of rare materials, such as treatises, guide books, etc.
