Focus: local, national. Consists of: architectural drawings, both individual drawings and complete archives; documents/correspondence; models; photographs, maps and surveys. Strengths: 19th century New Orleans architects James Gallier Sr., James Gallier Jr., James Dakin, James Freret, Thomas Sully; 20th century architects Curtis & Davis, Weiss Dreyfus & Seiferth, Albert Bendernagel, Moise Goldstein. Collection accessible through inventories and catalog; limited web-site access. Drawings can be reproduced. Institution does not have a conservation laboratory.

Library Holdings

Holdings: Architectural reference collection and collection of early architectural books; Garden Library of the New Orleans Town Gardeners (garden history).
